The Gateway Marks Women’s Equality Day w/ Mind the Gap Music Fest

Mind the Gap Music Festival, taking place on Women's Equality Day, August 26, 2023, at The Gateway in Salt Lake City, is excited to announce 21 Seeds as its presenting sponsor. 21 Seeds is not just a tequila brand; it's a story of female entrepreneurship, innovation, and the power of community. More than a delicious, flavored tequila, 21 Seeds represents the seed of something bigger, inspiring connections and the gathering of tribes making them the perfect partner for the festival. Mind The Gap Music Festival gates will open at 11 am at the sole entrance on 100 S Rio Grande Street, with music kicking off at 11:30 am. The festival will feature two stages. The main stage, located in The Gateway Plaza, is presented by 21 Seeds. The second stage, at 100 S and Rio Grande Street, is presented by Live Nation Women and Gritty In Pink. Full artist schedule here. Attendees are encouraged to park in the north and south garages located onsite. Mind The Gap Festival has been met with resounding praise from the community, reflecting its status as more than just a musical celebration. It's a meaningful platform committed to raising awareness and advancing efforts to reduce equality gaps in Utah. Recognizing the importance of collaboration, the festival has extended vendor space to a host of Utah's nonprofit organizations, all of whom share a dedication to equality, as well as to local businesses offering an eclectic mix of products, from vintage items and clothing to records and camera supplies. The festival will also feature a vibrant selection of beverages, including cocktails infused with 21 Seeds, locally brewed beers from Squatters Craft Beers, Wasatch Brewery and Moab Brewery, Mountain West Hard Cider, White Claw and an array of non-alcoholic options like Hans Kombucha, Shasta, and Liquid Death. The mix of music, activism, commerce, and refreshment truly captures the spirit of community and progress that defines Mind The Gap Festival. Full list of sponsors, partners, and vendors here. Mind The Gap Music Festival stands as a beacon of celebration and empowerment, especially for women and marginalized communities. Recognizing the persisting gaps in gender equality in Utah and beyond, the festival aims to create a platform that not only entertains but educates and inspires action. At its core, the mission is to uplift voices that often go unheard, spotlighting talents and stories that deserve recognition. The festival's commitment to fostering growth and opportunity extends to its pledge to contribute funds from every ticket sold to a scholarship fund at Salt Lake Community College's School of Arts, Communications, and Media. In aligning entertainment with social responsibility, Mind The Gap Music Festival embodies a vision of progress, inclusion, and creative excellence, striving to build a more equitable and artistic future.
