Carver Road Hospitality’s Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club has been designated as the Official Sports Bar for UFC 291: POIRIER vs. GAETHJE 2 taking place in the Delta Center on Saturday, July 29.
Recently named Best Sports Bar by Salt Lake Magazine, Flanker will host a series of events around the Pay Per View, including the Official After Party on Saturday, along with an athlete meet and greet and a series of live ESPN broadcasts of UFC pre-fight shows on Friday.
These activations build on the partnership that UFC and Carver Road kicked-off during International Fight Week and UFC 290: VOLKANOVSKI vs. RODRIGUEZ, which included a series of events at Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar at Mandalay Bay, featuring recently inducted Hall of Famer Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Women’s Flyweight #1 contender Valentina ‘Bullet’ Shevchenko.
“Our previous UFC events have been tremendously successful,” said Bryan Bass, CMO of Carver Road Hospitality. “Last year during UFC 278, Flanker became a hot-spot for fighters to hang out and interact with fans. This year, with our new UFC partnership, we’re looking to make the weekend even bigger and better.”

On Friday, July 28, Flanker will open for fans at 11am for a series of live, onsite broadcasts with ESPN, including ESPN+’s UFC 291: POIRIER vs. GAETHJE 2Pre-Show Live Presented by DraftKings Sportsbook at 12 p.m. followed by UFC 291 Live Presented by DraftKings Sportsbook: Poirier vs. Gaethje at 1pm, and UFC Best Bets at 2pm. All events will be open to the public and free of charge for all guests aged 21 and over.
On Saturday, July 29, Flanker will host the Official UFC 291 Watch Party during the Pay Per view, which will then be followed by the Official UFC 291 After Party. Tickets for each are available through the website at www.FlankerSLC.com.
Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club is open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 5pm – 11pm, Fridays & Saturdays from 5pm – 1am, and Sundays from 11am – 6pm.
