Kimball Art Center announces  3rd Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival

Kimball Art Center announces details for the 53rd Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival, scheduled for August 5 – 7, 2022, on Park City’s Historic Main Street.

“The Arts Festival is a three-day celebration of the arts,” explains Hillary Gilson, Kimball Arts Festival Director. “This year’s festival welcomes 185 unique artists, 54 of whom are attending for the first time. In addition to the exhibiting artists, festival attendees enjoy live music sponsored by Vacasa, artist demonstrations, art experiences, craft drinks, artisanal cuisine, and more.”

Juror-selected artists from around the world with 13 different art mediums are represented at the festival. The festival layout will replicate the 2021 layout with extended space between artists’ booths.”

Advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged to save time bypassing the line at the entrance gates. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages six to 17 and are available now at kimballartsfestival.org/attend. Ticket prices increase at the entrance gates. Locals’ Night returns Friday, August 5, welcoming all Park City and Summit County residents and homeowners to the festival with free admission. While admission is complimentary for residents, on Friday, August 5, residents must register in advance.

New for 2022, festival organizers have partnered with Park City Song Summit organizers to elevate the festival’s VIP lounge. The partnership includes evening entertainment produced by the Park City Song Summit, including a DJ Logic set on Friday night and an exclusive interview set by Park City’s own Wyatt Pike Saturday night before closing it out with AppAlaska Bluegrass Band. In addition to the entertainment programming, VIP access includes weekend access to the Festival, plus unlimited access to the VIP Lounge stocked with light bites and beer, wine and craft cocktails from High West Distillery. VIP access is open to the public for $225 per ticket.

Proceeds from the Park City Kimball Arts Festival allow the Kimball Art Center to provide year-round exhibitions, education, and creative events. Historically, the Arts Festival brings more than $14 million in economic impact to the state of Utah each year. The Park City Kimball Arts Festival is supported by the Park City Municipal Corporation, Kimball Terrace, Gateway Center, Zions Bank, Utah Office of Tourism, UBS, High West Distillery, Wicked Fast Internet, Park City Chamber of Commerce, George S and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, Vacasa, The YARD, Summit County Restaurant Tax and Summit County RAP tax.
