Stein Eriksen Lodge Welcomes Katie Van Riper

Stein Eriksen Lodge, Utah’s only Forbes Five-Star resort and spa and designated one of Forbes’ Most Luxurious Hotels in the World, announces Katie Van Riper as the new director of marketing and communications. Van Riper will oversee the brand portfolio of Stein Collection entities including Stein Eriksen Lodge, Stein Eriksen Residences, The Chateaux Deer Valley, The Residences at The Chateaux, Luxury Homes by Stein Collection, Stein Eriksen Realty Group, and Stein Eriksen Estates.

“Katie brings more than a decade of marketing experience to our team, specifically in tourism and hospitality,” said Russ Olsen, CEO of Stein Collection. “We welcome her leadership and breadth of knowledge of international relations, community partnerships, and brand identity to continue to share the Stein Collection story with our media partners and guests around the globe.” 

Van Riper assumed her new role earlier this month, previously held by Jessica Turner. Most recently, Van Riper was the director of experiential marketing & operations at Visit Salt Lake. She held branding and marketing roles with Visit Salt Lake and Avatech/Mountain Hub, after serving as an industry relations account executive for US Ski & Snowboard. Van Riper’s professional course was fittingly founded in the snow sports industry with marketing positions at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort and Boyne Resorts.
