2018 Shot Ski event returns for the third year

Park City Shot Ski(Park City Sunrise Rotary)

Raise your glasses for Park City’s 3rd annual Shot Ski Event, hosted by Park City Sunrise Rotary Club and High West Distillery. Participants will line Park City’s Historic Main Street to throw one back on Saturday, October 13 at 2 p.m.

In 2017, the communal shot ski used 476 skis end to end totaling 2,225 feet in length in order to serve 1,250 people. This year, the event invites 1,275 shot-takers to break Breckenridge’s record set in January 2018 of 1,266 participants and 422 skis.

“We love the competitive nature of Park City locals, and we are determined to be back on top with a new shot ski record this year,” said Park City Sunrise Rotary Club member Connie Nelson. “And what better way to go bottoms up than with High West whiskey in our glasses?”

High West Distillery, the events presenting sponsor for the first time this year, will be topping off glasses with their own Double Rye. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available, including a $500 bronze-level sponsorship, which includes two custom-wrapped skis, three shot glass spots each, six souvenir shot glasses, six High West drink tokens, a reserved space on the street for the event, and the opportunity to take the custom skis home. A $200 VIP commitment secures three spots on the shot ski, three souvenir shot glasses, three High West drink tokens and a High West-wrapped and branded ski to keep. To secure a sponsorship, contact Connie Nelson at 435-602-2612 or Mike Luers at 435-901-8891 by Wednesday, September 26.

A $25 ticket includes a spot on the shot; one souvenir shot glass and a token to enjoy a High West specialty drink at one of several after-party locations. High West is the official after-party site along with Wasatch Brew Pub, OP Rockwell, No Name Saloon and O’Shucks . To purchase tickets, visit http://parkcityshotski.com/.
