Get ready for a spine-chilling and giant pumpkin-packed event as The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City transforms into a haven for ghouls, goblins, and giant Pumpkins. Giant Pumpkinpalooza and Zombie Walk will be held on October 7th, 2023, from Noon to 5:00 p.m. It’s time to embrace the spirit of the season and celebrate in a truly spectacular fashion. The Giant Pumpkinpalooza and Zombie Walk is an unmissable extravaganza that promises thrills, chills, and unforgettable family fun. Attendees can expect an array of exciting activities, including:

  • Giant Pumpkin Contest:
    Witness colossal pumpkins possibly surpassing 1000 lbs. from across the region as they vie for the coveted Orange Jacket. Will this year bring a new record? There will also be gigantic watermelons, sunflowers, and more giant veggie surprises.
  • Zombie Walk:
    Join the undead and participate in the spine-tingling Zombie Walk through the heart of The Gateway. Dress in your most ghoulish attire and unleash your inner zombie for a frighteningly good time.
  • Live Entertainment
    Enjoy live music, dance performances, and other fantastic entertainment throughout the day.
  • FanX Costume Contests:
    Don’t forget to dress in your best Halloween attire for a chance to win spooktacular prizes in our costume contests.
  • Family-Friendly Fun The event offers a safe and enjoyable experience for the entire family. Kid-friendly activities and games will keep the little ones entertained.
