Park City Restaurants Announce Summer Apres Specials, Dining Events and Live Music Lineups

Signature events of the Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) return this summer, including the lengthy Grand Table at Savor the Summit in June and competitive mixology vibes of the Cocktail/Mocktail Contest throughout July. These flagship events find themselves in good company on the summer calendar alongside a number of dining events and live music performances slated to satiate and entertain all season long.  

“Block parties, dining rooms, bars, outdoor patios, and even the middle of Main Street will be filled with guests all summer long, thanks to Park City’s robust dining community,” Park City Area Restaurant Association executive director Ginger Wicks said. “We encourage locals and visitors to mark their calendars and bring their appetites for a variety of unique events and dining experiences available every night of the week.”

Events

Park City Cocktail/Mocktail Contest

Saturday, July 1 – Monday, 31 

Sip as many cocktails and mocktails from participating restaurants as possible and vote for the summer’s best cocktail and mocktail during the month of July. Bartenders and mixologists are challenged to use ingredients from at least (2) local purveyors in their original recipes this year. Winners will receive a $500 cash prize. 

4th of July BBQ at Stein Eriksen Lodge

Tuesday, July 4 | 5 – 8 p.m. 

Celebrate America’s birthday on The Glitretind Deck for an elevated BBQ feast of summer classics including Backyard Potato Salad, Spicy Shrimp & Jicama Slaw, Chef Zane’s Grandma’s Pasta Salad, Grilled Peach & Pancetta Salad, Chef Lupe’s Famous Roasted Pork Ribs, Bison Tri-Tips, Utah Lamb T-Bones, brats, buffalo burgers, Stein’s signature hamburgers, and decadent desserts including Cinnamon Bundt Cake, Key Lime Pie Bar, Strawberry Shortcake Verrine, and Chef Zane’s 16-Layer Chocolate Raspberry Cake. $72 for adults, $25 for children (5-12). Berrett Lane Block Party at Prospector Square

Saturday, Sept. 9 | 4 – 8 p.m. 

The whole neighborhood is invited to the Berrett Lane Block Party at Prospector Square, featuring live music, pizza from Este, and BBQ tacos from Salt Box. 

Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival

Saturday, 9/16 – Sunday, 9/17 | 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Deer Valley Resort invites beer enthusiasts to sip and sample brews from over a dozen Utah breweries at the second annual Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival. This one-of-a-kind beer festival includes scenic chairlift access throughout the resort, outdoor dining, live music plus a full slate of additional family-friendly activities.

High West Supper Club

Wednesdays | 6 – 7:30 p.m. 

The Refectory in Wanship prepares a mid-week Supper Club throughout the summer season including three hearty courses of Western fare served family style. $65 per person. 

Trivia King at Flanagan’s on Main

Thursdays | 7 p.m. 

Team up for King Trivia Live Pub Quiz. Test your knowledge over traditional Irish fayre, premium beers, and spirits. 

Karaoke at Flanagan’s on Main

Saturdays | 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. 

Belt out your favorite power ballad at Saturday night karaoke over a pint and authentic Irish fayre. 

High West Prix-Fixe Dinner

Wednesdays – Sundays | Seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

The Nelson Cottage by High West offers an evolving prix-fixe menu showcasing the best of Utah’s fresh, seasonal abundance. Each dinner is served with optional whiskey pairings to complement each course, along with an ever-changing wine list available by the glass or bottle and a small selection of beers. $95 per person, with optional whiskey pairings starting at $50.

Hops on the Hill at Stein Eriksen Lodge

Tuesday nights, July 11 – Aug. 15 | 6 – 8:30 p.m.

Experience favorites from local craft breweries and some of Chef Zane Holmquist’s best food pairings on the Flagstaff Deck on Tuesday nights throughout the summer. The $80 ticket to these 21 and older events includes the food tasting and specialty beer tasting. A $40 “Food Only” ticket will be available for purchase at the door. Summer Après Specials

Alpine Distilling

Sip cocktails for a cause with Park City-made vodka, gin, and liqueurs. A portion of bottle sales and cocktail sales go directly to local nonprofits, including the Espresso Martini, voted the best on Main Street, which benefits the Utah Avalanche Center. The internationally award-winning Elevated G&T, made with Alpine Elevated Gin and Preserve Liqueur, supports the Swaner Nature Preserve. Spirits can be purchased at DABS stores, the Distillery, and the Alpine Social Club on Main Street, which is open Wednesday through Saturday, 4 – 10 p.m., and Sunday, noon – 5 p.m.

Aprés Pendry

Drop in for Appy Hour daily from 5 – 6 p.m. to snack on ½ off shareables. Featuring daily Appy Hour specials, with games and activities for all ages, plus live music and drink specials ($5 Tall Boy Cans & $7 Sparkling Wine) every weekend. 

Dos Olas Cantina

Enjoy seasonal weekly specials including Taco Tuesdays ($4 street tacos), Nacho Normal Wednesdays ($12 nachos), and Thirsty Thursdays ($10 house margaritas and $5 ceviche shots). 

Live Music

Aprés Pendry

Enjoy live music on the Pendry Plaza Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all summer long. DJs will also play sets at the Pool House from 2 – 5 p.m., and a variety of live music performances of folk, Brazilian fusion, multi-instrumentalists, and singer/songwriters will take place at Après Pendry from 5 – 8 p.m. each night of the weekend. 

The Spur Bar & Grill
