Craft Lake City

After the success of last year, Craft Lake City is excited to announce the return of the Craft Lake City “Tattoo” Parlor to the Kilby Block Party from May 12-14, 2023. The CLC “Tattoo” Parlor will feature five talented DIY Fest alumni (all local artists!) who will be drawing flash “tattoos” on concertgoers using Sharpie markers. These “tattoos” will cost $5 apiece, with the money directly supporting the participating artists. Craft Lake City and Kilby Court are both passionate about bringing communities together by building connections through creative and artistic means. We are so thrilled to bring this amazing opportunity back to the Block Party & magnify the great missions of both groups.
On their website, KBP writes, “The Kilby Block Party is a music festival that started in 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Salt Lake City’s longest-running, all-ages venue Kilby Court. Keeping with the spirit of this iconic venue, KBP aims to bring together SLC’s music community with some of our favorite internationally renowned artists.”

Each artist will be providing unique flash designs they’ve created, including special Kilby-themed “tattoos”! Read on to learn about the talented group of local artists that Craft Lake City will be featuring across all 3 days of the Kilby Block Party.
