The Gateway is seeking local artists for its “Light Up The Gateway”-themed window installations from November 2022 through February 2023. The Art Shop Stroll and Market are opportunities for artists to showcase and sell their artwork at Gateway this winter season. Seven art shop artists will be invited to participate in creating the new window displays as well as join the new markets that coincide with Salt Lake City’s Gallery Stroll and the holiday shopping season. Local makers and artists who are interested in participating as a vendor in the markets can apply for that separately or apply to be a window artist + market vendor. The Gateway’s Art Shop Project is a program to support local arts and transform vacant store windows into stunning, temporary masterpieces. All mediums inspired by the theme are welcome.
Artists are invited to submit a proposal to Jacklyn Briggs at jbriggs@vestar.com and Julissa Breslin at jbreslin@vestar.com no later than October 24, 2022. Please title the subject line “ART SHOP – SUBMISSION.”
