Heber Valley Cowboy Poetry & Western Music Gathering Returns for 2022

Heber Valley

The Heber Valley Western Music and Cowboy Poetry Gathering is returning this year with a stellar lineup of singers, songwriters, poets, and entertainers. The multi-day event will be held October 12th through 16th throughout Heber Valley. The primary location for the bulk of events will again be Wasatch High School with dinner performances at Midway Town Hall and Soldier Hollow. Tickets for all performances are on sale now.

“We are thrilled to host the 27th Annual Gathering in the beautiful setting of Heber Valley. This valley has deep roots in farming and cowboy history, and a passion for music, poetry, and art. There’s no better place to celebrate music, poetry, and the western cowboy way of life than in Heber Valley!” said Diane Pope, Producer of Heber Valley Western Music & Cowboy Poetry Gathering.

The five-day event kicks off Wednesday night, October 12th, at Midway Town Hall with a cowboy dinner and live performances by Joshua Creek and Dave and Jenny Anderson. Poets will grace the stage to delight and entertain the audience, including Jeff Carson and Ryan Fritz. General and VIP tickets are available for the opening night event. Thursday, October 13th, allows visitors to walk through Tom’s Cabin to explore his premier collection of cowboy memorabilia. This is a limited time opportunity and is free to the public on this day from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Additional dinner performances and live performances take place over the remaining days and include such world-class artists as Sawyer Brown, Ned LeDoux, Ben Haggard, Paul Overstreet, and a well-known local favorite, Charley Jenkins Band.

And, don’t miss the Mountain Man Traders Camp, Buckaroo Fair, and historic Heber Valley Railroad “Cowboy Express” train rides. Roundup your family and friends and join us for a celebration of the cowboy and western way of life through music, poetry, and art. Tickets and additional information: hebervalleycowboypoetry.com
