Dreamscapes—Utah’s Immersive Art Experience—opens its latest cultural facility at The Shops at South Town

Dreamscapes Reopens in a new location at The Gateway on January 29

Dreamscapes—Salt Lake City’s Immersive Art Experience—has opened its latest location at the Shops at South Town. Here you will find a Utah-conceived and Utah-built one-of-a kind immersive art experience as well as a local art gallery and event space. This new location is five times the size of previous iterations and infinitely dreamier.

This immersive experience follows a dream-inspired storyline through colorful vignettes that meander an ethereal labyrinth, an exciting way to experience digital and physical art. Appropriate for all ages, Dreamscapes supports the Utah Arts Alliance mission—to foster the arts in ALL forms in order to create an aware, empowered, and connected community.

Dreamscapes first opened in March 2019 and has welcomed  more than 131,00 visitors to date. Dreamscapes is born from the imaginations of more than 100 artists, builders and digital technicians. Perhaps most incredible, Dreamscapes is built using upcycled and reclaimed materials, making this Utah’s first environmentally-focused attraction. With partnerships from amazing organizations like 3 Form, Salt Palace Convention Center, Habitat for Humanity’s Restore and others, Dreamscapes diverts tons of waste from the landfill. The end result is a vision of beauty that knows no bounds, a manifestation of the collective dream.

“Dreamscapes is not a pop up exhibit traveling through town. We are Utah-based and one of the state’s most unique cultural facilities that invites artists to express themselves in new ways. This is a welcoming environment for anyone looking to escape reality for a couple hours and change the way they define art. Come once, come a million times and you will always find something new to engage the dreamer within,” says Derek Dyer, Executive Director of Utah Arts Alliance and Dreamscapes.
