Art for the Recovery Community Fourth Annual Festival

The Utah Society of Addiction Medicine and the Utah Department of Health and Human Services are proud to present this summer’s Art for the Recovery Community Festival on August 20 at Sugar Space Arts Warehouse.

ARC is an annual multidisciplinary arts festival created to showcase and celebrate artists in recovery. Recognizing that conversations surrounding substance use disorders and addiction are often negative and stigmatized, our goal instead is to provide the local community a place to come together to celebrate the beauty, strength, and joy found in the journey to recovery.

The ARC festival opens at 6pm with a gallery exhibit featuring work by visual artists, painters, photographers, and more. An evening concert, starting at 7:30pm, will include performances by local poets and musicians.

The event will also include a raffle drawing for pieces donated by the artists, with all proceeds going to Soap2Hope, a local harm reduction non-profit.

ARC will be hosted on August 20 from 6-9pm at Sugarhouse Arts Warehouse in downtown Salt Lake City, 132 South 800 W. The festival is free and open to the public. A livestream of the concert will be available to watch via our website for those unable to attend in person. For more information, please visit artfortherecoverycommunity.com
