The Dough Miner Opens in Salt Lake City

The Dough Miner Pasty

Recently, The Dough Miner opened their first kitchen and welcomes friends, neighbors, locals, and visitors to their Salt Lake location to try their unique and famous pasties (pronounced “pass-tees”).

“We are so excited to bring pasties back to Salt Lake City!” says Ken Roderman – Owner of The Dough Miner. “My daughter-in-law, Marissa, and I have been crafting these in hopes guests will stop in, get a pasty and coffee, and head to work or up the mountains.” The Dough Miner family is expecting to grow their business throughout the valley with more stores and even a food truck for events. Marissa, Manager of The Dough Miner, says “Our vision was to bring our version of pasties to the city we love and create a community that visits often and is excited to try our latest edibles – that includes our current Funeral Potato pasty made with hash potatoes, onions, and a buttery cheese sauce.”

The Dough Miner, which was recently featured in the Salt Lake Tribune , is excited for their official Grand Opening event on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, from 8:00am – 3:00pm, where guests have a chance to win prizes, taste delicious pasties, and enjoy what Ken and Marissa have been working on.
