Salt Lake City’s Fourth Annual Busker Fest June 24th and 25th

On June 24 and 25, Main Street, from 100 – 300 South, in Downtown SLC will be transformed into Salt Lake City’s annual Busker Festival. Free to the public and appropriate for all ages, Busker Fest is a family-friendly event that will thrill audiences with musicians, dancers, hula-hoopers, jugglers, performance art and comedy acts.

“Busker Fest is back! This year’s festival includes some of the best street performers in the nation. The traveling acts are supported by a long list of local talent. Street ballet, music, magic and more will all be highlighted. Come down to experience the diverse, inspiring and often hilarious acts at Busker Fest SLC,” said Kim Angeli, Event Director.

Busker Fest features fourn primary pitches:

  • Magic Corner – Vaudeville-themed magic shows
  • Eccles Steps – Live Music on the steps of Eccles Theater
  • McCarthey Plaza* – Stunt shows, aerials and headlining acts
  • Main Street & 200 South – hourly busking shows
  • Busking Bus Theatre – Vaudeville- style variety show
  • Gallivan Ave – Headliners perform hourly at the steps behind Gallivan Center

Busker Bar is located at McCarthey Plaza and Regent Street with libations from Fisher Brewing and Beehive Distilling In addition to the primary pitches, be on the watch for street performers along Main Street, 100 South, and Regent Street. These performers range from budding local musicians to seasoned artists, acts that you might find entertaining passersby on the streets in urban centers across the nation.

SLC Busker Fest is a FREE event and open to the public, however, attendees should be well prepared to tip performers and acts that they love-bring your wallet full of cash!

time-honored tradition that adds to the vibrancy and culture of cities around the world – including here in Salt Lake City.
