It’s that time of the year again, we get to explore the wonderful Utah outdoors in some extra fun ways. Announced this week is the return of Utah’s Olympic Park activities – all fantastic ways to enjoy the great outdoors this Summer. Items include a bobsled experience, extreme tubing, zip line, alpine slide and more.

Summer officially begins at Utah Olympic Park on May 28, 2022 with the return of an array of exciting summer activities. Adventure activities including the Summer Bobsled Experience, Extreme Tubing, Extreme Zip Line, Alpine Slide and much more will be open and operate daily until September 5.
Activities will be available as part of the Gold Pass in 3.5 hour morning and afternoon sessions with limited capacities to improve our guest experience. Reservations for these sessions are available online. This summer’s Gold Pass sessions include Extreme Zip Line, Freestyle Zip Line, Extreme Tubing, Alpine Slide, Adventure Ropes Courses, Airbag Jumps and Drop Tower.
Summer Bobsled Experience rides – on the 2002 Olympic Winter Games bobsled, luge and skeleton track – are available in one hour sessions Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm starting May 28 through September 5.
One of Utah Olympic Park’s most popular activities, Extreme Tubing, is back for another summer season. Take a ride down the landing hill of our Nordic ski jumps and enjoy the thrill of reaching speeds up to 50 mph. Extreme tubing runs daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and is included in the purchase of a Gold Pass Session. Individual tickets for Extreme Tubing are $30 and are available in-person only.
Utah Olympic Park will also be reintroducing the multi-tower Zip Line Tour this summer as a reservation-base product. Half-hour sessions are available from 1 pm to 5 pm beginning June 11 through August 7.
As part of the summer season kick-off, Utah Olympic Park will be hosting a High Dive Exhibition on May 29 at 6 pm. Over 20 professional divers from the Red Bull Cliff Diving circuit will be performing various dives in this half-hour choreographed show from the 27 meter high dive platform into the Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool. Flying Ace All-Stars Freestyle Shows will open for the summer season on June 18 with a high-flying performance that is sure to leave you breathless. Freestyle shows are scheduled from June 18 through September 4 nearly every Friday and Saturday at 6:30 pm. Individual tickets are $20 per person or are available in a Family Pack of four tickets for $70. Ages two and under can attend for free.
The Alf Engen Ski Museum and Eccles 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games Museum is now open daily from 9 am to 6 pm and admission is free. Guided tours run daily at 10 am, 11 am, 2 pm and 3 pm beginning May 28 through September 5.
