Say Abortion, an art exhibit showcasing stories and art from Utahns who have had abortions, opens today at Medium Studio in Salt Lake City. Hosted and curated by Planned Parenthood Association of Utah, Say Abortion is a compilation of written stories and artwork from 7 artists and 15 storytellers with the goal to expand perspectives of who has abortions and to destigmatize the word abortion itself.

Say Abortion aims to create a space that is comfortable for people to talk about abortion, share their experiences with abortion, and to say the word abortion.

The exhibit will be open to the public Thursday, May 12 from 6 pm to 10 pm and Friday, May 13 from 8 am to 10 pm at Medium Studio in Salt Lake City. There will also be a public reception on May 13 from 6 pm to 10 pm where light refreshments will be served.
