Coming Soon to Utah: Yonutz, Famed Fantastical Donut and Ice Cream Concept

Yonutz, the celebrated and innovative donut and ice cream concept and the two-time winner of “Dessert Wars,” has completed a company rebrand and is set to expand across the country with more than seven new franchise locations opening in 2022, and up to 20 new shops on the horizon. Following an energized renovation at the Yonutz flagship Sunrise, FL location, all current storefronts and new franchise locations will mirror the refreshed and innovative space displaying the new Yonutz logo and signage, custom murals, Instagrammable neon signs, colorful countertops and revamped bar areas with additional seating.

“Our goal with this rebrand and franchising is to expand upon the fun and innovative Yonutz brand,” says Tony Bahu, CEO and Founder of Yonutz. “With our elaborate desserts, immersive ambiance, colorful packaging and outstanding customer service, we will continue to provide a fantastical experience to dessert lovers everywhere and allow fans all over the United States to partake in the Yonutz experience.”

The Home of the SMASH Donut currently has two open locations, the flagship in Sunrise, FL and its first franchise store in Las Vegas. The fantastical donut concept has embarked on its invigorating journey to take America by storm with numerous franchise locations opening this year in Orem, UT; Sandy, UT; Boise, ID; Oklahoma City; Greenwood, CO; two locations in Houston; and many more burgeoning cities across the nation.

Upon entering Yonutz, guests will be transported into a whimsical dessert wonderland featuring an Instagrammable photo wall with a neon ‘SMASH THE ORDINARY’ sign. The dining areas will be replete with a custom, fantasyland-themed mural and a SMASH Donut wall that outlines how to make a one-of-a-kind SMASH Donut dessert. The countertops will feature endless gourmet donuts and treats for customers to choose from and high-definition TV screens will display the amazing SMASH products to tease your senses. Adding to the immersive experience, guests of all ages will have front row access to watch the talented team members create over-the-top recipes that come to life. Yonutz fans can even take home a piece of their favorite dessert shop with trendy merchandise and its multi-colored vibrant packaging.

“By creating such an innovative and immersive experience, guests from all over the country will finally get to indulge in our one-of-a-kind products, like the SMASH Donut, that truly sets us apart,” says Jennifer Bahu, COO and Founder of Yonutz. “We are so thrilled to be able to share our excitement and fantastical desserts with new customers.”

Dessert lovers can enjoy the Yonutz original and signature SMASH Donuts such as the Nutella Crunch SMASH Donut, a fluffy donut stuffed with cookie dough ice cream, smashed and hot-pressed, topped with Oreos, cereal crunch and Nutella drizzle; the unique Miami SMASH Donut, made with flavors of South Florida, and stuffed with dulce de leche ice cream, Maria Cookies, white chocolate chips and guava drizzle; and the Birthday Cake SMASH Milkshake, prepared with birthday cake ice cream, blended with a mini donut, birthday Oreos, and topped with another mini donut.

The dessert rush doesn’t end there. Dozens of fresh mini and large gourmet donut creations are also available including tantalizing flavors such as apple pie, big birthday, Boston cream, crunch berry bang deluxe and peanut butter and jelly. Yonutz also serves a “secret menu,” available only to those who join the Yonutz free VIP club by signing up online at yonutz.com. The secret menu features exclusive SMASH Donuts and Milkshakes that cannot be found on the main menu.

Tony and Jennifer Bahu, who created the award-winning sweets concept and made it into the fantastical dessert brand that customers love and cherish today, are excited to share this concept with their fans nationwide. Their Instagram page captivates fans from coast to coast and around the world.  The creative franchise also caught the attention of Yonutz Partner, Kevin Harrington, a former “Shark” from NBC’s hit show, “Shark Tank.” For information about franchising with Yonutz, visit yonutz.com/franchising
