Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club, a visionary and state-of-the art addition to the Salt Lake City dining and nightlife scene presents an exciting line up of events to usher in 2022. Programming includes world-class DJs, live music, special dinner offerings and New Year’s brunches. The multi-concept venue, which was recently awarded City Weekly’s Best of Utah Anticipation Award, officially opens its doors today, December 8.
Primely positioned above The Gateway’s Olympic Plaza – the center of Salt Lake City’s largest New Year’s Eve “Last Hurrah!” – Flanker welcomes guests to celebrate with craft cocktails, champagne, and elevated American fare.
“We are absolutely thrilled to enhance the New Year’s Eve experience in downtown Salt Lake City,” says Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club parent company Carver Road Hospitality’s Vice President of Operations Matthew Minichino. “We’re changing the game for the 21 and over crowd at The Gateway with our endless entertainment options, sophisticated design in multiple rooms, and cutting-edge dining and cocktail menus.”
On December 31, a New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu will be available at $49 per person with the option to add beverage pairings for an additional $10. Reservations are available now at FlankerSLC.com. After 9:30 p.m., open seating will be available with a $20 cover charge.
Additional activities during the holiday week include special guest DJ Lil Jon on December 30 at 10:45 p.m. and New Year’s brunches on January 1 and 2.
