Solitude postpones opening day

Solitude Mountain Resort will postpone its opening day for the 21/22 ski season. Conditions permitting, the resort is optimistically targeting a new opening date of Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Recent warm temperatures have presented a challenge to Solitude’s previously announced opening date of Friday, November 19, 2021, limiting the potential for snowmaking.

Solitude President & COO Amber Broadaway says: “With colder temps on the way, we will be making snow at every available window. If conditions justify opening earlier than November 23, we will be ready to go.”
