Tuacahn's fabulous fall lineup

The list of talent gracing the Tuacahn stage during this upcoming fall concert season is as long as the towering red rocks are tall. With names like Martina McBride, Kansas, Kristin Chenoweth, Gentri and more, it’s no wonder audiences are clamoring to get a taste of this season’s stars.

Kicking things off Oct. 26-30 is a show that has become synonymous with Halloween: Odyssey Dance Theatre’s production of Thriller.

“It’s so crazy the number of people who have really latched onto this show,” said Derryl Yeager, director and choreographer for Odyssey Dance Theatre.

So many in fact, Tuacahn offers five nights to see this haunted spectacle unfold in the shadow of the red rock canyon.

“There’s really no other setting quite like it,” said Scott Anderson, artistic director for Tuacahn. “An outdoor Halloween show with all the extras Tuacahn can offer.”

Then laughing he added, “It’ll be an absolute scream.”

Joining the fray a little later in the season, Journey Unauthorized brings the unique complexities of some of Journey’s most popular music to life with flawless production value and an unparalleled attention to detail.

Billing themselves as “the most authentic Journey tribute band on the planet,” if you ever swayed to the sounds of “Open Arms” or felt invigorated by “Don’t Stop Believin’,” you will not want to miss this!

Journey Unauthorized’s Perry Stevens captures the essence of the legendary Journey front man Steve Perry in both sound and appearance. Joined by the talented Joel Pelletier, Eric Barnett, Jimmy Wells and Steven Goodwin on keyboards, electric guitar, percussion and bass respectively, these five musicians will make you feel like the ‘80s are back!

Grammy nominated and Billboard No. 1 violinist, Jenny Oaks Baker, joined by the band Family Four, will add Tuacahn to its lengthy list of premier performance venues on Nov. 20.

Playing a mixture of soul-stirring music to enlighten and entertain, Jenny Oaks Baker and Family Four offer a sound that will echo through the natural amphitheater and into your heart.

The Tuacahn fall concert lineup includes Thriller (Oct. 26-30), Martina McBride (Nov. 4), Kansas (Nov. 5), Kristin Chenoweth (Nov. 6), Journey Unauthorized (Nov. 11), Ryan Hamilton (Nov. 12), Gentri The Gentlemen Trio (Nov. 13) and Jenny Oaks Baker and Family Four (Nov. 20).
