The Twilight Concert Series has a long history of community building and engagement. This year, the concert series will not only support the local creative economy of musicians but it will also contribute to the economic recovery of other industries downtown such as local restaurants, businesses, and venues that have been impacted due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

“We are very excited to bring this treasured program back to Salt Lake City this summer. The 2021 Twilight Concert Series features an incredible line-up that reflects the values of the Salt Lake City Arts Council and greatly contributes to the Downtown core of Salt Lake City as a vibrant place to live, work, and play,” says Felicia Baca, the Executive Director for the Salt Lake City Arts Council.

“S&S is proud to once again partner with the Salt Lake Arts Council. The Twilight Concert Series has been a staple in our community for the past 30+ years. We strive to produce a diverse and positive series. In a year of tumultuous events, the Twilight Concert Series allows our community to finally come together again,” remarks Will Sartain of S&S Presents.

With the cancellation of its 2020 national lineup, the Twilight Concert Series pivoted its efforts to creating Light Up Locals, an emergency relief fund for musicians in Salt Lake City who had been impacted due to COVID-19. This fund served a critical need that helped artists continue their livelihoods and passions, while bringing stability in an uncertain time.
