Stein Eriksen Lodge, Utah’s only Forbes Five-Star resort and spa, and designated one of Forbes’ Most Luxurious Hotels in the World, once again earned the coveted title of “United States’ Best Ski Hotel” in the 8th annual World Ski Awards. This year’s award winners were virtually announced on worldskiawards.com on Friday, Nov. 20, the organization’s inaugural WSA Winners Day.
The World Ski Awards is the only global initiative to recognize, reward, and celebrate excellence in ski tourism. Ski industry professionals and ski consumers cast their votes this past summer to decide which ski organizations are the leaders in their respective fields, ultimately naming the Lodge the nation’s best ski hotel of 15 U.S. finalists.
“Earning the U.S. Best Ski Hotel by our loyal guests and knowledgeable industry peers is incredibly humbling,” said Russ Olsen, CEO of Stein Collection. “We are thankful to garner the continued recognition for the luxury experience we’ve offered at Stein Eriksen Lodge for nearly four decades.”
Located mid-mountain at the world-renowned Deer Valley Resort, Stein Eriksen Lodge has been awarded U.S. Best Ski Hotel in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020. In addition to the prestigious United States’ Best Ski Hotel and World’s Best Ski Hotel awards from the Ski Oscars, Stein Eriksen Lodge is also Utah’s only Forbes Five-Star resort and spa. The Lodge also ranks highly as a World’s Best Hotel from Travel + Leisure and from Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List and Top 40 Resorts in the Western U.S. List. It has been named among Forbes Magazine’s Top Ten Best Ski Resorts in North America, as well as accolades from Resorts & Great Hotels, Zagat, DiRoNA, Santé, and Wine Spectator, among many others.
World Ski Awards is the sister organization of World Travel Awards™, currently celebrating its 27th anniversary.
