Salt Lake County Arts & Culture Venues Closing Through December 31, 2020

Salt Lake County Arts & Culture

All Salt Lake County Arts & Culture venues – Abravanel Hall, Capitol Theatre, Eccles Theater, and the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center – are closing for in-person performances effective November 23 – December 31, 2020.

The closure is at the direction of Salt Lake County Mayor Jennifer Wilson and the County Health Department to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health & safety of the community. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution due to the record-breaking number of COVID cases and their impact on our medical resources.

The Theatres have been operating at approximately twenty percent of capacity with limited events through the end of the year.  Those presenters that were booked are determining whether their events will be presented virtually, rescheduled, or canceled.

If you purchased tickets to an event through ArtTix or directly from the Presenter you will be notified via email on what to do. If you purchased tickets through a third-party seller, you will need to contact that agency directly for their refund/exchange policy.

We appreciate the leadership of our public officials and will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves to ensure the health and well-being of our audience, staff, artists, and crew.
