In a tough year for local restaurants, cityhomeCOLLECTIVE is thrilled to share some good news about a project collaboration with one of our favorite downtown Salt Lake City spots, The Daily.

Announced earlier this month, cityhome’s design of The Daily won the IIDA Intermountain 2020 Best Design Award in the “Play” category. Says cityhomeCOLLECTIVE’s Design Director Lauren Bald of the project, “We designed this healthy, fast casual café on the ground level of the 222 Main Building,” creatively addressing the challenges presented by the long, narrow space with several points of entry for guests. “Our designers conceived the serpentine countertop to allow the best flow through the restaurant’s unique constraints.” She adds of the design’s layered, texture-rich elements, “The adorable llama wallpaper we sourced was a big hit and became the inspiration for the brand assets of the business itself.”

Founded in 2005, cityhomeCOLLECTIVE is a client-focused real estate brokerage and interior design firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The cityhomeDESIGN portfolio includes residential, commercial, and hospitality projects spanning the U.S., including restaurants in Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.
