October Saturdays will be spookier at The Gateway with free outdoor screenings of classic Halloween films.Costume contests and a photo booth will complement the movies. The Gateway restaurants will have dinner to order that audience members can enjoy on their blankets, and heaters will be set up throughout to provide warmth. While the screenings are free, preregistration is required on Eventbrite, and space is limited to allow for ample social distancing. Each ticket reservation will be given an assigned spot on The Plaza that accommodates up to six people. Wait lists will be available for sold out dates with additional tickets released each week. Masks are required but may be removed once at designated spot, and hand sanitization stations will be available.

The first four films have been selected, but the finale on Halloween Night has been put to a public vote on The Gateway’s social media platforms. Follow @atthegateway to vote.

“We know Halloween is going to look different this year, so we’re providing a fun, socially distant option that people can enjoy and get into the spirit of the season,” says Jacklyn Briggs, marketing director of The Gateway. “Dress up, get food delivered to your plaza location by our restaurants, and enjoy a night of spooky fun all month long.”

The following is the schedule of screenings. The Plaza opens for ticket holders at 5:30 p.m. for check in. Contest begins at 6:15 p.m. with film to follow at roughly 7:00 p.m.
