Salt Lake City blue skies

In line with its goal of serving the community and addressing the diverse needs of HR professionals, the Utah Human Resources State Council has announced that it will host its Annual Conference on September 22-23, 2020 as a virtual event. The conference is Utah’s Largest event for Human Resource and business professionals, organized to deliver the latest information, professional development, and continued support of excellence in the workplace.

Human Resources and people management is evolving to introduce practices and innovations geared towards enhancing employee satisfaction and improving productivity. Spearheading innovation and the development of HR over the years is The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). With a membership base of more than 300,000 members globally and a presence in over 165 countries, SHRM organizes events and provides innovative resources to lead its members, HR practitioners, and business leaders in best practices while keeping them looped into the latest trends in workforce development and people strategy. The annual Utah State SHRM Conference offers a local resource for these professionals with ongoing training and certification credits, and the 2020 edition will not be any different.

The 2-day conference will include four separate half day sessions. Attendees can choose to attend single half day sessions for $95 or the full 2-day event for $250. Utah SHRM members save 10% off the full 2-day pass. Reserve your ticket before August 14th and receive a free Utah SHRM jacket and swag bag. Speakers will cover a range of relevant topics such as managing remote employees, diversity in the workplace, business disruption and more.

A conference highlight will be keynote speaker Bill Weingartner from The Table Group. Based on Best Selling Author Patrick Lencioni’s popular books, these educational sessions are always a hit.
