Buddha Gear Adapts and Responds to Corona

Buddha Gear, producers of Yoga and Meditation headbands, hats and beanies with a cool kick, rises to the occasion with their specially designed masks to help with COVID-19 infectious disease outbreak.

Buddha Gear was already making headwear, so it was a natural pivot to shift into mask making mode when they recognized the need.

“We created these masks to help raise everyone’s spirits right now, says Jason Latas and Joy Schade of Buddha Gear. And, it is our hope that our masks will infuse an additional supply amid the shortage of face masks.”

“There are limited resources available right now for medical grade masks, so after some study we picked a blend that was recommended by medical professionals as a recommended alternative when medical grade masks are not available.

“With the proper funding, we also have the ability to work with our partners in the industry and ramp up supply to several hundred masks a day almost immediately! So, we are putting out the SOS to anyone with the ability to assist in this endeavor.”

Buddha Gear Masks are NOW available for purchase: www.buddha-gear.com and will be made available for anyone, hospitals and designated COVID-19 health care facilities. They also have the option to donate masks to those in need and Buddha Gear will match your donation!

Buddha Gear always gives back a portion of all proceeds to help clothe the homeless. Buddha Gear recently donated over 400lbs. of clothing to Salt Lake City Women’s Shelter and the Buddhist Temple.
