The February edition of Boxoffice Pro Magazine ranks Utah’s Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres among the top 50 giants of film exhibition in the United States. With 182 screens across 16 locations, Megaplex Theatres comes in at 29 on the list of largest cinema chains in the U.S.
“Considering that we compete with circuits that have hundreds of locations and thousands of screens, it’s nice for Megaplex to be acknowledged as a contender in the movie industry,” said Blake Andersen, Megaplex Theatres president. “With a new Megaplex location already announced in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and even more plans for future growth, we’re excited to offer the Megaplex experience to even more guests.”
Last November, Megaplex Theatres celebrated its 20th anniversary and wrapped up 2019 with several national rankings for major Hollywood films, including Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Frozen 2, Avengers: Endgame and many more titles.
“2019 finished as the second-highest-grossing year on record at the domestic box office,” according to Boxoffice Pro Magazine.
