Provo, Utah resident Matt Bird makes his literary debut with his poetry collection entitled, He Atoned for Me.

This collection expounds on the impact that the Gospel had on the author’s life during a trying two-year period in which the author was away from home on a mission trip, highly doubtful that what he was teaching was even true.

Bird notes, “I can trace each poem…to a specific moment when I felt hated, loved, depressed, hopeful, etc. I just want to share what I learned and felt through those extremely concentrated and challenging two years.”

A compilation of soul-searching poetry sure to resonate with readers of all religious backgrounds, He Atoned for Me will have readers reflecting on their own lives for years to come.

The reading takes place from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at Pioneer Book (450 W. Center) in historic downtown Provo on Thursday, December 5, 2019.

He Atoned for Me, published by Austin Macauley, will be released on October 30th, 2019.   Price: $7.95, ISBN: 9781643785479. It is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and in other bookstores throughout the country.
