Local restoration companies in Salt Lake City announce giveback campaign for Giving Tuesday

All hands And Hearts Smart Response

Delta Restoration Services® of North Salt Lake City, a locally owned company that provides restoration services to commercial and residential properties, announced today a fundraising campaign with All Hands and Hearts, a top-rated disaster relief nonprofit organization.

Delta Restoration Services of North Salt Lake City is linking up with All Hands and Hearts to raise funds for the nonprofit’s immediate and long-term programs that provide essential relief to communities impacted by natural disasters. For each new restoration job it begins between November 1 and Giving Tuesday (December 3), Delta Restoration Services of North Salt Lake City will be making a donation to All Hands and Hearts.

All Hands and Hearts is currently running disaster-relief programs in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico, with its efforts focusing on not only restoration, but rebuilding with more resilient and safer structures. Its international programs include projects in Mexico, The Bahamas and Peru, to name just a few. Notably, 96 cents of every dollar the organization receives goes directly to its programs. All Hands and Hearts earned a 4-star rating by Charity Navigator six years in a row and a “Perfect 100” score on Charity Navigator’s rating system, which evaluates financial health, accountability and transparency. Less than one percent of rated nonprofits have received this distinction for financial and operational efficiency.

The initiative comes at a crucial time. The rate of natural disasters is rising, and according to the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the cost of disaster relief in the U.S. totaled $91 billion in 2018 alone.

“All Hands and Hearts does really important work by providing support to communities that have been devastated by natural disasters, which aligns with our mission of helping property owners in North Salt Lake City restore their property as well as their lives when they suffer damage to their home or business,” said Marc Baldwin, local owner of Delta Restoration Services of North Salt Lake City. “It’s alarming to see how fast the rate of natural disasters has risen in recent years. We just felt that this was the time to get more actively involved in supporting this cause and begin giving back in a bigger way. We’re honored to raise funds for a top-rated organization like All Hands and Hearts and eager to help them support the communities that need it the most.”

All Hands and Hearts effectively and efficiently addresses the immediate and long-term needs of communities impacted by natural disasters. The organization communicates directly with local leaders and community members and then deploys its unique model of engaging volunteers to enable direct impact, helping to build safer, more resilient schools, homes and infrastructure. This mission directly aligns with Delta Restoration Services of North Salt Lake City’s focus on helping homeowners restore their homes and their lives in times of crisis.

“Delta Restoration Services is dedicated to providing world-class, compassionate restoration and reconstruction services to property owners who have suffered a loss, so this partnership is a natural fit,” said Gina Deave, director of corporate relations for All Hands and Hearts. “We’re so grateful for corporate partners like Delta Restoration Services and thankful for their support – it allows us to execute on our mission.”
