Local Colors of Utah artist Katie Willes presents “Reflections on the inner child: a playful exhibition.”

Her art is fun and happy, using a soft and calm palette of color.  “To enhance my creativity, I try to get in touch with my inner child, hence the title of my show.  I feel like children have such a direct connection to their creativity.  We sometimes lose that as adults.”

A lot of Katie’s paintings have obvious childhood references, like “Chutes and Ladders,” or “Lunch on the playground.”  Our favorite is “Frog Lobotomy.” Come see her show, and be inspired to enjoy life in a childlike way.

Reflections on the inner child” opens Nov 12th with an evening reception on Nov 15th from 6 to 9 pm and runs through December 14th.
