Man vs Mountain: SIX US riders set to impress at the 14th Red Bull Rampage

Man vs Mountain

On par with only Canada, this year sees six American entrants take on the terrifying terrain of Virgin, Utah for 2019’s Red Bull Rampage.

The very best in free riding are leading an action-packed line up this year, down from the summit with only their mountain bike and a gnarly attitude. Now in its 14th edition, the biggest show in freeride mountain biking is taking place in Virgin, Utah on October 25, 2019 and will be live streamed globally.

Freeriding sees extreme mountain bikers tackling open natural terrain on the back of a bike in an adrenaline filled spectacle of skill and style. The world’s best is set to take the Utah red desert slopes as Red Bull Rampage returns for 2019.

Red Bull Rampage is mountain biking’s truest test of skill and mental toughness. The event has evolved to become freeride mountain biking’s most coveted title. A roster of riders from eight countries across the world have been exclusively invited to participate. Each hope they will showcase a winning run that will see them standing atop the Red Bull Rampage podium.

Over six days, riders along with their two-person build crews, will scope the mountain and carve their own ultimate lines from the summit.  Each rider will attempt to build the most extreme route in what’s touted as one of the most intense contests in the world.

Carson Storch, Red Bull Rampage Freerider says, “Rampage is like the Olympics of riding bikes. It’s gnarlier – it’s more raw in real life than you could ever picture in your head”.

Red Bull Rampage will be broadcasted live on Red Bull TV, available through the app or online, on Friday 25th October at 17:00 BST. The event will be broadcasted in 6 different languages (Eng, Spa, Ger, Fra, Jap, Pol). For more on the event, riders and for a roundup of the best tricks from years past, find more at
