Local movie fans will have the chance to experience all nine Star Wars episodes exclusively in Utah at the Megaplex Theatres at The District in South Jordan. Ultimate fans will experience all nine Star Wars films in one epic day. The Megaplex Star Wars Nine Episode Movie Marathon will take place starting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 with Star Wars Episode I: Phantom Menace and culminate on Thursday, December 19, 2019 with the newest film in the saga, Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.
Fans attending the Star Wars Marathon will receive event only premiums, including a commemorative pin and blanket as well as exclusive food and concessions offers, plus they will be among the first to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The marathon starts with the Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and will play in episodic order, up to and including the newest film, Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. In all, the nine film titles add up to more than 1,259 minutes of movie content. With scheduled breaks between films, guests will be celebrating the Star Wars Marathon for more than 24 hours. Seats are extremely limited to the Star Wars Marathon event. Reserved seats start at only $99.00 each (plus applicable taxes) for all nine movies and also include a Star Wars Marathon Comfort Kit, souvenir popcorn tin with unlimited Megaplex popcorn, a souvenir drink cup with unlimited Coca-Cola Freestyle drinks for the duration of the marathon and more.
The Star Wars Marathon Comfort Kit includes an exclusive event blanket and convenience items to help manage the length of the marathon.

Marathon guests will have the opportunity to purchase an optional Megaplex Marathon Meal Plan for an additional $39.95, which will include three meals and a midnight snack to enjoy during scheduled breaks in the marathon.
Select Megaplex Theatres locations are also hosting Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Opening Night Fan Events. Fan Event guests will be among the first to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at 5:00 p.m. on opening night, December 19, 2019. Fans will receive a commemorative pin as well as a Star Wars souvenir popcorn tub and drink cup.
