The Utah Arts Alliance presents the third annual ILLUMINATE SALT LAKE Festival, November 8 – 9, 2019 from 5 until 10 p.m. at – The Gateway. This free event invites the community to explore our city in entirely new ways and to see it in a whole new light, by illuminating our culture and community through art and technology. http://utaharts.org/illuminate-salt-lake/

Artists working with technology and using light as their medium will use the city as their canvas and create light art displays and exhibits for the community to enjoy and experience a first of its kind experience.

The ILLUMINATE SALT LAKE Festival is a free two-day community art event for all ages and a celebration of innovation and imagination that features installations by more than 30 local and regional artists, live music and performances, kids’ activities, interactive light art demonstrations, virtual reality arts displays, food trucks, local brews & spirits, and much more!

Programming partners include Utah Film Center, Discovery Gateway, Clark Planetarium, Illuminating Engineering Society, Make Salt Lake, Dreamscapes and Utah Arts Alliance. Over 50 artists and performers are involved in creating work for the festival.
