Deer Valley Resort Chefs Anticipate Sold Out Dining Event At New York City’s James Beard House

As Deer Valley Resort’s world-class culinary team packs their kitchens and heads east to prepare an exclusive dinner at New York City’s James Beard House, reservations are quickly filling up for the Friday, October 25 event. Six of Deer Valley’s culinary professionals will cook at the renowned James Beard House, three of whom will also be featured as guest chefs for Condé Nast on Thursday, October 24.

“Our Deer Valley culinary team sets the industry standard for dining excellence,” said Todd Shallan, Deer Valley Resort president and chief operating officer. “We could not be more excited to share the Deer Valley dining experience with the Condé Nast team and a full roster of dinner guests at the esteemed James Beard House.”

An evening beginning with a cocktail reception and canapés, followed by a five-course meal featuring original creations from Deer Valley’s full-service restaurants will be prepared at the James Beard House by Food and Beverage Director Jodie Rogers, Silver Lake Lodge Executive Chef Chris Gibson, Executive Pastry Chef Stephen Harty, Snow Park Lodge Executive Chef Brian Henning, Goldener Hirsch Inn Food and Beverage Director Ryan Burnham, and Empire Canyon Lodge Executive Chef Ryan Lloyd.

Additionally, Gibson, Henning and Lloyd will have the honor of featuring Deer Valley’s turkey Turkey Chili for the staff of Condé Nast Media Company, as part of their guest chef lunch program.
