The Gateway, Utah’s premier community gathering, dining and entertainment destination, is celebrating the start of the fall season on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019 with the first Yoga & Beer class of the season.  The fun continues weekly through April. The Gateway, Salt Lake Power Yoga and Wasatch Brewery, partner to offer this free event every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at The Gateway at 12 S. Rio Grande Street, across from the Olympic Legacy Plaza. 

The talented instructors at Salt Lake Power Yoga lead this series with power flow yoga, integrating optional beer drinking postures. All levels of yogis and beer drinkers are welcome. Mat rentals are available for $2. RSVP: and Yoga is free and beer and wine are just $5 for after-yoga camaraderie with besties.

“Yoga and Beer is one of our most popular events we host at The Gateway, so we’re happy to welcome it back,” says Jacklyn Briggs, marketing director for The Gateway. “It’s the perfect way to rejuvenate in the middle of the week with a little fun and relaxation.”

Stuart is the founder, writer and wrangler at several sites including Gastronomic SLC, Utah Now and, The Utah Review; Stuart is a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune and has worked extensively with other local publications from Utah Stories through to Salt Lake Magazine and Visit Salt Lake.
