Beer Bourbon & BBQ Sat. Oct 12

The Gateway in SLC

The Gateway, Utah’s premier downtown community gathering, dining and entertainment destination, is bringing back Beer, Bourbon and BBQ, back for the second year, by popular demand on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 from 4 – 10 p.m.

Presented by Strong VW, the event is free to attend and samples of scary-good bourbon, craft beer and BBQ are available for purchase. Attendees can enjoy games, live music and Broadway Media’s U92 DJs and, as a “gateway” to Halloween, there will be a rockin’ costume contest with prizes.

Beer and Bourbon options abound with Waterpocket Distillery’s Robber’s Roost Whiskey, Ogden’s Own Distillery’s Porter’s Rye WhiskeyToasted Barrel Brewery, and Mountain West Hard Cider. Mouthwatering BBQ will be dished up by Pat’s BBQR&R BBQ and UMU Polynesian BBQ. Booths will include Sparrow Electric and Boozetique Wine & Cocktail Accessories. Additional brews will be added before the event.

“We are excited to bring back Beer Bourbon and BBQ at The Gateway again this year,” said Jacklyn Briggs, marketing director for The Gateway. “We always hold this at the start of the holiday season, just before Halloween and people’s costumes are unbelievably fun.”
