Broadway Media, announces the third annual Suicide Prevention Broadcast, to be aired live across all local Broadway Media stations, at 9 AM on Friday, September 6th, 2019. With suicide, a persistent public health crisis in our community, Broadway Media, believes it is critical that we openly discuss the causes and effects and offer resources for those struggling. This crucial live broadcast will be hosted by Bill Allred, of X96’s Radio from Hell, and presented commercial-free, thanks to our partners: Use Only As DirectedThe Anti-Bullying Coalition, and DoTerra.

First airing in 2016, The Out of Darkness Suicide Prevention Broadcast, has created a safe forum to discuss the difficult topic of suicide, including causes and the lasting effects that are created in the wake of such tragedy, with the ultimate goal of providing much-needed resources to those affected. With the support of our partners, we are able to present this hour-long broadcast commercial-free.

President of Broadway Media, Kayvon Motiee, shared the following: “To be honest, I wish we did not have to do this broadcast. However, suicide is an absolute epidemic in Utah and I feel like we owe it to our community to educate them on what resources are available. As proud as we are to be collectively tackling such an important and difficult topic, our goal is to one day discontinue this joint broadcast because the need will no longer exist.”
