The GatewayUtah’s premier community gathering, dining and entertainment destination is happy to welcome Chedda Burger July 24, 2019. Formerly located on 600 South, this new downtown location for Chedda Burger joins Foothill and Lehi locations and will feature the same delicious menu from Utah’s Burger Boy, Chef Nick Watts.

The Chedda Burger story was ignited by the turn of a key, literally. Chef Watts founded The Chedda Truck in 2012 with a love for food that pushed the boundaries of traditional burgers. The result? A menu of burgers with unique flavor combinations you can’t find anywhere else. His passion for creating street-style burgers has grown from a guy in a truck to three locations across the greater Salt Lake area. The newest location is 190 South 400 West, adjacent to Wise Guys Comedy Club and will be open Monday – Thursday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 8 p.m.

“We pride ourselves most in using only fresh, local and thoughtfully sourced ingredients to craft a menu that is truly unique and delicious,” said Ryan Andrus, Co-Owner of Chedda Burger. “We are excited to make The Gateway, our home. We bought into their vision of marrying food, entertainment, events, arts and culture to create the ultimate downtown destination.”

“We’re proud to welcome Chedda Burger to the Gateway and our growing list of specialty restaurants on the south end of the property,” says Jacklyn Briggs, marketing director for The Gateway. “It’s another great dining option for people that work here, those attending our more than 180 events annually and theatre, movie and sporting event goers.”
