Have a drink and cast your vote for the annual Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) Summer Cocktail Contest.
Through the month of July, locals and visitors are invited to sample cocktails from as many participating PCARA restaurants as possible and vote online for their favorite summer sippers. You must be 21 years of age to participate.
Twenty-four bars and restaurants are vying for this year’s title. One vote may be cast per email address, per day, online on the PCARA website, www.parkcityrestaurants.com.
“We’ve had such a positive response from our restaurant community about this year’s summer cocktail contest,” PCARA executive director Ginger Wicks said. “Their excitement is contagious, and we can’t wait for guests to try their latest creations and cast votes for their favorites.”
The bartender or mixologist with the winning cocktail will earn a $200 cash prize, city-wide recognition, and will be featured in a marketing campaign leading into PCARA’s popular fall “Dine About” event following the contest.

Last year’s winner was Mixologist Trevor Brown from historic Main Street’s tupelo, who earned the coveted prize with his Cherry in the Rye cocktail. The summer sipper mixed rye whiskey, ginger liqueur, a port reduction, lime juice and club soda.
