Acclaimed chef Peggi Ince-Whiting has introduced a “Lunchbox” bento box option to Kyoto’s lunch menu. Perfect for those who just can’t make up their mind on which traditional Japanese entrée to choose, it’s also a terrific value at just $15 and offered both in the restaurant at lunch or delivered as a “to-go” option for parties, meetings or events.

Peggi’s love of Japanese cuisine and creative combinations shine through each delicious bite. The Lunchbox is filled with her delectable chicken teriyaki, ebi (shrimp) tempura, gyoza, tuna sashimi and California roll and is served with rice and a choice of miso soup or house salad.

“We are pleased to offer this new option for those wanting a taste of more Japanese specialties. It’s also a big hit with companies ordering out for something different for corporate meetings,” says Whiting, “I love the Lunchbox addition to our traditional offerings of tempura, teriyaki, sukiyaki, katsu, udon, donburi and sushi.”
