SLUG Mag’sBrewstillery is back for its spring edition. Brewstillery is a festival celebrating Utah’s local breweries and distilleries, at which attendees can sample a variety of craft beverages in one place. This spring edition of Brewstillery will take place on Saturday, May 18at Historic Trolley Square, from 2:00-7:30 p.m.
SLUG Mag’s Brewstillery promotes the unique craft beer and distillery culture our state has to offer. Participating breweries and distilleries will be on hand offering samples and education behind their products. While sampling brews and spirits, attendees will also get a taste of local food, music and art. Attendees will vote for their favorite exclusive brew for the People’s Choice award, and SLUG “Beer of the Month” columnists Chris and Sylvia Hollands will be the judges for the Best New Brew award. There will also be a cocktail competition—participating distillers will be creating craft cocktails in hopes to wow the crowd and take home the People’s Choice award, as well as the Singular Contribution to Utah Spirits award which will be chosen by Alexander Ortega (SLUG Magazine’s Editor) and Ryan Manning, who has developed and managed bar programs at Takashi and Under Current.
SLUG Magazine is excited to host this event at Historic Trolley Square 500 S. 602 E., Salt Lake City, UT 84102.
Pre-sale tickets are $20 and are available now for sale on 24tix.com day-of drinking tickets will be $25. Each ticket comes with 5 sample tokens and a full-sized commemorative mug. Additional sample tokens will be available for $2 each onsite. Non-drinking tickets are $5, and kids 12 & under are free. This is an all-ages event.
