The Richfield KOA is a KOA Holiday, one of three descriptive brands created to help campers select the right campground for their camping needs.

“We added a lot of concrete pads to our sites. We added patio sites. We increased activities and added games like Cornhole and Frisbee Golf,” says owner Michael Coon. “We always get compliments on our campground.”

KOA Holiday campgrounds are wonderful base camps for exploring the area or just a fun place to stay with lots of activities. KOA Holiday parks have amenities and services to make stays memorable, whether it’s a longer stay or just overnight. Each KOA Holiday features full-service RV Sites with a KOA PatioTM and KOA Deluxe Cabins with full bathrooms.

“The Paiute ATV trail is a huge draw for us. We’re surrounded by Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Canyonlands and Arches National Parks,” he says. “You can drive your ATV, UTV or motorcycle right from the campground and be on the trail in minutes.”

The Richfield KOA Holiday offers full hookup sites, Pull-thru RV Sites, KOA Patio Sites, Tent Sites, Deluxe Cabins and a Camping Lodge. They offer 50-amp service for their guests as well as bike rentals, a dog park, pool, cable TV and Wi-Fi.

“We have a good cable TV system. We also have a very nice swimming pool. We keep it heated and people can sit on the grass in the shade near the pool and play yard games,” he says. “We escort all guests directly to their site to ensure they get there without any issues. We also have a lot of grass. A lot of people come from different campgrounds and say, ‘We haven’t seen grass like this in a long time.’ We’re very customer oriented and huge on cleanliness.”

Amenities include a complete remodel of their building and a redo of the men’s and women’s bathrooms. The campground offers laundry services, horse shoe pits, mini-golf, a playground, pavilion and lots of green space.

The Richfield KOA Holiday is one of more than 515 open-to-the-public KOA campgrounds in the U.S. and Canada. Other brands in the KOA Family of Campgrounds include KOA Journeys, convenient locations after a long day on the road that feature long Pull-thru RV sites and easy after-hours check in; and KOA Resorts, which include an abundance of activities led by dedicated recreation staff, on-site food service, group meeting space and more.

Located at 590 West 600 South, the Richfield KOA Holiday received the 2018 KOA Founder’s and President’s Award for achieving world-class service scores and meeting exceptional quality standards. It is open March 1 – October 31.
