The Urban Arts Gallery presents “Those Who Can’t”, a collection of work by local Utah art teachers and their students

Those Who Cant (Urban Arts Gallery)

Guest curated by Jordan C. Brun, our January show will disprove the old adage “those who can’t, teach.” This exhibit will feature the work of local art educators and raise awareness and interest in public visual arts education. The participating artists will present a piece of their own work, a piece of example work they create for their classes, and an example rubric that explains the lesson and methodology to the viewer. “Those Who Can’t” will showcase Utah Art Educators’ aesthetic skills and provide commentary on the teacher shortage in Utah.

The exhibit will hang from January 2nd to February 3rd, with a gallery stroll reception on January 18thfrom 6-9pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
