Utah Community Action Hosts Christmas Meal for Seniors

Utah Community Action

Utah Community Action is hosting Christmas for seniors on December 14th at Café Evergreen in the Millcreek Community Center. Seniors will enjoy a traditional, seasonal spread with friends and family.

“Everyone should have the opportunity to experience a traditional Christmas dinner,” said Joni Clark, Chief Development Officer. “We’re proud to partner with Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services while supporting our elderly population.”

Café Evergreen is a social enterprise operated inside the Millcreek Community Center by Utah Community Action in partnership with Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services. It is staffed by students and graduates from Utah Community Action’s Sauté program, a culinary arts training course that supports income-eligible adults in earning ServSafe certification to boost their employment potential.
