Downtown Farmers Market Closing Day

Downtown Farmers Market

The twenty-seventh season of the Downtown Farmers Market will come to a close on Oct 20, 2018, in Pioneer Park. Market-goers can enjoy an abundance of local produce, pumpkin decorating and the 10th annual Pet Costume Contest. Also, Tsunami Restaurant & Sushi Bar will present Urban Food Connections of Utah with a check of $3,000, the result of a partnership from their Downtown Farmers Market roll that featured vegetables from the Downtown Farmers Market throughout the month of September.

The check ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest at 11 a.m. In addition, children who participated in the Intermountain LDS Hospital Market Kids Club program this past summer will be given prizes and there will be pumpkin decorating for kids of all ages on the east lawn of the park from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The Rio Grande Winter Market will kick off Nov 10, 2018, and run every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Rio Grande Depot.
