Park City Area Restaurants Staying Open Through Fall

The leaves are changing and Park City is gearing up for winter. A number of the region’s award-winning restaurants will continue serving their renowned food and drinks through the shoulder season – including some with can’t-miss specials.

Here’s the restaurant-by-restaurant rundown, each a member of the Park City Area Restaurant Association. A few will have modified hours or will temporarily close for routine maintenance and cleaning before the start of the ski and snowboard season. Check with individual restaurants or the PCARA website for the most up-to-date information on closing dates and fall hours:

Billy Blanco’s

Dig in to motor-city Mexican seven days a week at Billy Blanco’s, which will be open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant will be closed Nov. 21-22.

Blind Dog Restaurant & Sushi

Blind Dog restaurant will be closed October 14 – October 23, and will reopen October 24 in celebration of 20 years in business.

The Brass Tag at Deer Valley Resort

Enjoy buy-one-get-one free at this acclaimed spot for brick-oven cuisine. Through Dec. 1, purchase one entrée and receive another one free. The restaurant will be open daily from 4 to 9 p.m., with its full dinner menu offered from 5 to 9 p.m.

The Bridge Café

The cafe, serving American food with a Brazilian flair at the bottom of the Town Lift on Main Street, will be open 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Sunday.

Butcher’s Chop House

The top-flight steakhouse will be open from 3 p.m. to midnight starting Dec. 15. Butcher’s will be open for lunch from 12-3 p.m. from Dec. 21-Jan. 2.

Chimayo

Starting Oct. 28, this upscale spot for Southwestern cuisine will be open Tuesday-Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 5-10 p.m. The restaurant will be closed Nov. 18-22, and it will reopen for seven days a week starting Nov. 23.

Deer Valley Grocery~Café

The Grocery~Café, featuring gourmet groceries and fresh roasted coffee and espresso drinks, soups, chili, salads, panini sandwiches, desserts and more, is now open daily from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The Eating Establishment

This Park City standby with a cozy dining room and swanky bar is open 365 days a year. This fall it will be open Sunday-Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Edge Steakhouse and Drafts Burger Bar at Westgate Park City

Edge Steakhouse will be open Tuesday-Saturday from 5:30-9 p.m. Drafts will be open Thursday-Monday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Coffee Bar will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

EPC Bar & Restaurant at Hyatt Centric Park City

EPC will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every day: Breakfast – featuring fresh fruits, breads, pastries and your choice of eggs and local meats – will be on offer from 7-11 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and dinner made from locally sourced ingredients and scratch cooking techniques from 5-10 p.m. For those on the go, The Market will be serving breakfast to-go from 7-11 a.m. and all-day dining from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Flying Sumo

This relaxed sushi spot will be open daily from 5:30-9:30 p.m., featuring 50-percent off rolls and nigiri every night.

Ghidotti’s

Ghidotti’s will remain open seven days a week, serving upscale Italian classics Sunday to Wednesday from 5-9:30 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday from 5-10 p.m. The last $5 Thursday is Thursday, Nov. 15. The restaurant will be closed Nov. 21-22.

Grappa

Grappa will be closed for seasonal maintenance from Oct. 7-24. Once it reopens, though, it will be serving its classic Italian fare Sunday, Monday and Thursday from 5-9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5-10 p.m. Be sure to take advantage of Locals Night before the last one on Nov. 5. The restaurant will be closed Nov. 20-22, and it will resume service seven days a week for the winter season starting Nov. 23.

High West Distillery & Saloon

The award-winning a la carte menu at the saloon in Park City will be on offer until Nov. 10, which also marks the last day for events at the Nelson Cottage until the start of the winter season. The distillery at the Refectory in Wanship will be serving Sunday brunch until Nov. 11. The venues will reopen Nov. 28 for dinner service at the saloon and lunch and dinner at the Refectory in Wanship.

Lespri

This steak and sushi favorite will be serving dinner Tuesday-Saturday from 5-9 p.m.

No Name Saloon

The hours aren’t changing at this locals’ favorite, which is remaining open through the fall season.

Sushi Blue

The contemporary restaurant serving sushi and pan-Asian cuisine will remain open seven days a week: Sunday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Tupelo

This upscale restaurant and bar will be serving dinner and Sunday brunch from now until ski season. Dinner will be served Wednesday-Saturday from 5 p.m. until close, and Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A seasonal tasting menu, featuring five courses for $49, and Tupelo’s “7 for $7” bar menu will be on offer all autumn. The restaurant will be open seven days a week starting Dec. 9.

Tupelo is also pleased to be hosting a wine dinner featuring Ridge Vineyards on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Visit the Tupelo website for details.

Twisted Fern

This creative eatery will be serving dinner seven nights a week from 4-9 p.m., and lunch Wednesday-Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be closed for lunch hours Monday and Tuesday.

Versante Hearth + Bar at Park City Peaks

This Italian spot will be keeping the same hours through fall, open all week from 4-10 p.m.

Wahso

The award-winning bistro will be closed Oct. 7 to Nov. 28, and it will resume service seven days a week starting Nov. 29.

Windy Ridge Bakery and Café

Windy Ridge, the go-to spot for French country fare and pastries, will be remain seven days a week: The café will be open Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday-Sunday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will be closed Nov. 21-22. The bakery will be open Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be closed Nov. 22-23.

Yuki Yama Sushi

The restaurant, featuring seasonal plates and classic sushi will be open seven nights a week: Sunday-Thursday from 5-9 p.m. and 5-9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
