2018 Living Traditions Fall Garden Party

Living Traditions (SLC Arts Council)

On Saturday, September 29th, the Living Traditions spirit continues with its 2018 Fall Garden Party. The one-day event, held from noon to 4:00 p.m., is presented by the Salt Lake City Arts Council. This unique celebration is a multicultural gathering featuring performing and craft artists, food trucks, and many different international offerings from around the state. The Garden Party is held at the International Peace Gardens on 1000 South and 900 West.

Unlike like the annual festival held in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, the Fall Garden Party heads west this season, just beyond the Granary District area at the International Peace Gardens. The setting is more of an intimate backdrop, perfect for a fall afternoon filled with artists, music and ethnic food.

Performing Artists include the following groups:

Native American Lil’ Feathers
Utah Basque Dancers
Kenshin Taiko Drummers
Zivio Ethnic Arts Ensemble
Salt Lake Capoeira
Halau Hula O Kahealani
Jambo Africa
Ballet Folkorico de las Americas.

There will also be a craft artist area as well as the following food trucks:

Hayat’s Grill (Afghani Cuisine)
Mother of All (Sudanese Cuisine)
Papito Moe’s (Caribbean and Latin Cuisine)
